Welcome to Warung Hazlan bin Adom, nestled in the charming Kampung Jabi of the Segamat District in Johor, Malaysia. This delightful café is the perfect spot for local delicacies that pay homage to traditional Malaysian flavors.

As you step inside, you're enveloped by an inviting atmosphere, inviting locals and travelers alike to enjoy hearty meals that evoke nostalgia. The café is especially famous for its Nasi Lemak, a beloved classic often enjoyed at breakfast. This dish features fragrant rice, rich in coconut milk, impeccably paired with a variety of sides. Customers rave about the taste, reminiscent of simpler times—“Rasa nasi lemak hampir sama dengan dahulu,” shares Cikgu Sheme Sheme math, recalling how the rice used to be richer and shinier. You'll want to savor each bite, as the warm, fluffy rice melds beautifully with its accompaniments like sambal—the essence of the dish.

Another must-try is the Sotong Satay, praised for its delectable flavor and tender texture. Reviewers like redz studioz recommend indulging in the satay with a splash of curry, enhancing the already mouthwatering experience. It’s perfectly complemented by the traditional fried egg, adding a rustic feel to your meal. “Fuyhhhhh, sedappppp,” exclaims Ming Sheng Lee, capturing the genuine delight of patrons who cherish the café's offerings.

For the more adventurous, delve into the satisfying Lontong or the flavorful stir-fried noodles—Mee Goreng and Bihun Goreng—that garner enthusiastic reviews from frequent visitors. With generous portions and quick service, often highlighted by returning customers like mi mi who appreciates their steadfast consistency and speedy delivery, every visit becomes a treat.

While the café does face a minor challenge with its outdoor seating—where pesky flies have become a topic of light-hearted banter among guests—it’s a small price to pay for such delightful fare. It also explains why many choose to take their meals to go, savoring every morsel elsewhere.

With its down-to-earth charm and rich culinary offerings, Warung Hazlan bin Adom truly embodies the spirit of traditional Malaysian cuisine. Whether you're a local or just passing through Segamat, make sure to stop by this culinary haven—your taste buds will thank you!

Rasa nasi lemak hampir sama dengan dahulu (dahulu lebih lemak dan berkilat nasinya). Sotong masih legend, teringat dulu2 makan satay sotong banyak2. Cuma lalat masih banyak seperti dahulu, need to bare with it. Mungkin sbb tu ramai juga yg bungkus.
